In a shocking accident reported from Jalandhar-Amritsar highway, a truck fell off from a flyover crushing an auto. A CCTV camera that was installed under the flyover shows the truck falling from the flyover. Some people had a narrow escape. The truck was not loaded at the time of the mishap.
The incident happened on Friday on the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway in Jalandhar itself. The truck was on the flyover and suddenly came crashing on the road the flyover. The CCTV video shows the truck falling from the top.
Truck Fell from Flyover in Jalandhar
According to reports, the truck driver said that his truck developed a snag which made its controls unfunctional. He could not control the truck and it went smashing down from the top of a flyover in Jalandhar.
If you watch the video, it will show how truck fell from the flyover. The road below flyover is a normal road and had normal traffic. Just before the truck fell, some cars and other vehicles can be seen moving on the road. A cycle rider was lucky enough as he left his cycle and ran away as soon as he heard the crashing voice from the top of the flyover. He was saved by just few seconds.

The truck driver named Narayan Singh belonging to Baba Bakala and the auto-rickshaw driver named Manpreet Singh who came below the truck sustained serious injuries. The auto driver belongs to Jalandhar.
The truck that fell off the flyover in Jalandhar was going to Anandpur Sahib. Both the truck driver and auto driver were admitted to civil hospital in Jalandhar and were out of danger.
Such mishaps can happen anywhere and at any time. It is advised to stay alerted and be careful when you are on road.
