JEE 2019: Out of 9 Lakh Main Exam Candidates, Top 2.5 Lakh will Appear for Advanced 2019

JEE Advanced 2019: NTA has held Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) on 5 January 2019, whereas candidates are all set for JEE Advanced 2019. National Testing Agency for the first time has carried out the JEE Main Exam 2019. Experts have released the expected cut-off for JEE Advanced for the year 2019 and if the same is to be believed, then only 2.5 Lakh candidates will appear for JEE Advanced 2019.

Recently NTA for the first time conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2019. Also, the newly formed body will conduct the JEE Main exam twice in the year 2019. Check out more details regarding JEE Advanced 2019 below.

JEE Main 2019: 9 Lakh Candidates Appeared for the Exam

National Testing Agency held the first instalment of Joint Entrance Examination Main 2019 on 5 January. Whereas the second instalment of JEE Main will be carried out in the month of April 2019. On 5 January, almost 9.45 Lakh students appeared for JEE Mains 2019. Also, it has been the record, as 94% has appeared for the exam out of the number of registration. Earlier only 80-85% of the total number of registration use to appear for JEE Main.

Although candidates have another chance in the month of April to appear for JEE Main 2019. It has been expected that the number of candidates will increase in the second JEE Main exam for the year 2018. Although NTA will release the JEE Main January exam 2019 result by this month only. Further, the candidates can apply for April JEE Main 2019 starting in the month of February 2019.

Whereas only 2.5 Lakh to appear for JEE Advanced 2019

After the declaration of JEE Main result of January and April month 2018, NTA will hold JEE Advanced in the month of May 2019. As per reports, it has been out that out of the 9 lakh candidates of the JEE Main exam, only top 2.5 Lakh candidates will appear for JEE Advanced Exam 2019 scheduled in the month of May.

Further, those who clear the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) 2019 will be eligible for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) admission.
