JEE Advanced 2018 Eligibility Criteria Updated | 4000 More Students Are Now Eligible

There is a good news for the students who are willing to appear in the JEE Advanced 2018 exam. The Eligibility Criteria of the JEE Advanced 2018 has now been updated, making more than 4,000 aspirants eligible for the registration. JEE Advanced 2018 exam is going to be conducted in May 2018.

JEE Advanced 2018 Eligibility Criteria Updated 

The JAB that is Joint Admission Board has been working on the ways to increase the registration and with the same motto, it has now updated the eligibility criteria in a way that 4,000 aspirants have now become eligible for JEE Advance 2018 registration. With this news, it has been estimated that the number of registrations for the exam will increase from 2.20 Lakhs from 2017 to 2.24 Lakh next year in 2018.

JEE Advanced 2018, Number of Seats Yet To Be Revealed

As per the sources, a number of seats in 23 IITs across the India are 10,998 and according to the reports of 2017, almost 121 seats remained unclaimed even after the 7 rounds of counseling. So, as per the instructions of the Huan Resources Department Ministry of India, IIT was told to make some effective steps to decrease this problem.

JEE Advanced 2018 Dates and Notifications 

The JEE Advanced 2018 exam will be conducted by IIT Kanpur on 20th May 2018. This examination will be conducted in fully computer based test and will consist of the two papers including Paper-1 and Paper-2. The duration of each paper will be 3 hours and will be conducted in two sessions. Also, it has made very clear that both the papers are compulsory. Also, in the light of recent changes, the government has launched the new website for the JEE Advanced exam 2018. It is the first time IIT Kanpur is conducting the JEE 2018 Advanced exam.

Also on the official website of JEE, it has been mentioned that the candidates should be among the top 2,24,000 including all the categories by scoring the Positive marks in Paper-1 of JEE [Main] 2018.

JEE Mains 2018 Notifications 

After the release of the date of JEE Advanced 2018, there have been guessing around on the date of JEE Mains 2018. Although the date for JEE Mains 2018 has not been released, still there are some tentative dates that are floating around in the news. JEE Mains 2018 is a qualifying exam for appearing in JEE Advanced 2018 that is going to be conducted on 20th May 2018. The dates for JEE Mains will be released by the end of the November 2017.
