JEE Main 2019 (April): Mode of Examination, Subjects, Important Dates & Other Important Details

JEE Main 2019: NTA (National Testing Agency) has started the online application form filling process for the Joint Entrance Examination 2nd Attempt on the official website. The process has started on 8th February and will continue till 7th March 2019. Here are the details regarding the JEE Main 2019 2nd attempt. Check it out.

Mode of Examination, Subjects, Important Dates & Other Important Details Regarding JEE Main 2019 April Exam

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main Examination in a CBT mode and Pen and Paper Mode. Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) will be conducted in a Computer Based Test mode. In the paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning), the Mathematics Part 1 and Aptitude test Part II will be conducted in a CBT mode while the Drawing Test Part III will be conducted in a Pen and Paper Mode offline.

The medium of the question paper will be in English, Hindi & Gujarati. The candidates can opt the question paper language while filling the application form and it can’t be changed later. There will be two papers i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for the candidates seeking admission to B.E or B.Tech while Paper 2 is for the candidates seeking admission in the B.Arch or B.Planning.

Paper 1 of the JEE Main 2019 will have questions from subjects Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Paper 2 will have questions from Mathematics Part 1, Aptitude Test Part 2 and Drawing test Part 3. The candidates who have appeared in the JEE Main Exam January 2019 are eligible to appear in the JEE Main Examination April 2019.

Important Dates & Details: The process of filling the application form on the website of JEE Main has started online on 8th February 2019 and the last date to complete the online submission is 7th March 2019. The last date to pay the application fee online is 8th March 2019. The exam will be conducted in the April month i.e between 7th April 2019 to 20th April 2019. The result of the JEE Main 2nd Attempt will be declared on NTA website on 30th April 2019 for the Paper 1 and the result of Paper 2 will be out by 15th May 2019.

Application fee for the JEE Main Examination

General & OBC (NCL): Rs 500 for the Boys and Rs 250 for the Girls for either Paper 1 or Paper 2 (candidates in India), Rs 2000 for the Boys and Rs 1000 for the Girls for either Paper 1 or Paper 2 (Outside India)
SC/ST/PWD/Transgender: Rs 250 for Boys & Rs 250 for girls (India) and Rs 1000 for Boys and Rs 1000 for Girls (Outside India) for either Paper 1 or Paper 2.

General & OBC (NCL): Rs 900 for the Boys and Rs 450 for the Girls for Paper 1 and Paper 2 both (candidates in India), Rs 3000 for the Boys and Rs 1500 for the Girls for Paper 1 and Paper 2 (Outside India)
SC/ST/PWD/Transgender: Rs 450 for Boys & Rs 450 for girls (India) and Rs 1500 for Boys and Rs 1000 for Girls (Outside India) for Paper 1 and Paper 2 both.
