JEECUP Notification | Check Out UPJEE 2018 Exam Date, Eligibility & How to Apply

The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) 2018 notification for the state’s engineering entrance examination for diploma courses is out on the official website jeecup.nic.up by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, UP (JEECUP). The candidates applying for the UPJEE 2018, conducted by the Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad, U.P. will have to register and fill up the application form online only.

The final examination of UPJEE 2018 is scheduled on April 22, 2018, and it will be conducted in eleven groups. Group A of the exam is for the candidates who are seeking admission in the diploma courses of Engineering and Technology while Group B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7 and K8 for other courses.

As per the UPJEE notification, the council has fixed the examination fees of Rs 300 for the general category per form with bank charges, additional. Candidates from the  SC/ST background will have to pay the exam fee of Rs 200.The UPJEE 2018 result is expected to be released in the month of May 2018 further followed by the UPJEE (Polytechnic) counseling in June 2018.

Eligibility & how to apply for UPJEE 2018

Talking about the eligibility criteria set by JEECUP, candidates applying for it should be above the age of 14 years as on July 1, 2018 and no upper limit for age. Candidates selected from the UPJEE 2018 will get admission in the Polytechnics offering diploma courses, affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. However, apart from this, those who will fill up the application form will have to also have to compulsorily give their Aadhaar card number. The council also requests candidates to carry their Aadhaar card to the examination hall for confirmation.

To apply for the UPJEE, candidates will have to first go to the official website and fill up the form online. Candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph along with their signature as well as their thumb impression. Apart from these, the candidates should have the passing certificate of class 10 along with the mark sheets and Aadhaar card number. On the completion of the application form filling, candidates can see an automated generated confirmation page along with application number on it.  Download it and take its print for further reference in future.
