Jeep Compass Sale Reaches 10,000 Units Milestone in about 120 days | Read Full Story

The recently launched Jeep Compass has successfully reached 10,000 units milestone in India. According to the report, the compact SUV achieved this milestone in just 4 months. Besides making the announcement that the compact SUV attained the sale of 10, 000 units, the company also declared that it will be increasing the prices of the Jeep Compass by 2-4 per cent. The company also stated that the price hike will be effective from January 1, 2018.

Jeep Compass sales reach 10, 000 unit milestone 

As per the report, the company will increase the prices of the compact SUV – Jeep Compass from January 1, 2018. It has been reported that the automaker will increase the price of the compact SUV by 2-4 per cent. The company has stated that it will maintain the price of the entry-level variant of the compact SUV while all the prices of all the trims over the base model will increase from next year. The entry level Jeep Compass currently carries a price tag between Rs 15.16 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jeep Compass journey in India

The Made In India Jeep Compass was launched in the country earlier this year on July 31, 2017 at a competitive price starting between Rs 15-16 lakh. Currently, the car maker is offering the premium SUV in India in three different ranges. The Compact SUV comes in Sport, Longitude and Limited edition. There are 10 variants of the compact SUV in India that come with the option of 1.4-litre Turbo Petrol as well as 2.0-litre Turbo Diesel Multiair powertrain options. Besides the petrol and diesel option there is also an option to choose between the 4×4 and 4×2 derivatives that are available in the Jeep Compact SUV.

Jeep Compass’ increasing popularity in the country

As per the report, FCA India announced that sales of the compact SUV Jeep Compass crossed the momentous milestone of 10,000 units in just four months. Compass was one of the most anticipated car in India by the car manufacturer and the milestone of 10, 000 units sold in about 120 days clearly expresses the growing popularity of the Compass in India. This Made in India SUV is one of the top-selling models in the segment in the country and the company is hopeful that the figures will further increase in the future
