All the manufacturing process of the SUV will start from June in its Maharashtra factory and it is expected that the first model of made in India Compass Jeep will be launched by August. A total amount of $280 million has been invested by the company in the Compass project in India. According to the first look of the Jeep Compass, we can say that the new model of made in India Jeep will be Super sporty and attracts a lot of youngsters.

With lots of add-on features in the new Jeep Compass will give tough competition to SUVs of Mahindra and Tata. Although the price of the first made in India Jeep will also be competitive as per the price of the other SUVs in the country.
- Jeep Compass will come in both Diesel (2.0 litre) and Petrol (1.4 litre) model.
- LED daytime running lights and LED tail lamp is also incorporated in the SUV.

- India is expected to get a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
- It will also offer Electric Parking Brake (EPB) in its 4 models.
In the very initial stage, the company is expecting to manufacture 50,000 units on the annual basis. Whereas 40-50% of the total units will be exported to other countries from India. Compass model of the Jeep will be manufactured in 50 different shades.
Jeep Compass Price in India
The new Jeep Compass will be launched at a very great price, not too expensive. The launching price of Jeep Compass in India is expected to be within 15 Lakh to 25 Lakh. The same price will continue till the SUV holds on the market in India.
