Jharkhand SSC Recruitment 2018: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has started the process of filling the application form for the JECCE 2018 Exam (Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination). The candidates can now fill the application form on the official website of JSSC. To recall, the Staff Selection Commission of Jharkhand released the notification regarding the JECCE 2018 exam last week. Last Date: The Staff Selection Commission of Jharkhand has started the process of application for the JECCE Exam on 26th December. The link to apply online for the exam is active now and forms can be filled online. The last and final date for the submission of application form is 9th February 2019. The last date to complete the application form is 16th Feb.
Application Fee: The candidates belonging to the General and OBC Category will have to pay Rs 800 as application fee while the application fee for the SC/ST category candidates is Rs 200. The application fee can be paid via Debit card, Credit Card or via Net Banking. The last date for the payment of application fee is 13th Feb 2019. For more details check the official notification.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit for the JECCE 2018 exam is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years. For the candidates of SC/ST category, the upper age limit is 30 years and for EBC/BC category, the upper age limit to apply is 28 years.
Vacancies: As per the official notification published by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, there are total 518 vacancies. All these vacancies are for the post of Excise Constable. The category wise vacancy details are as follows – For the General Category, there are total 284 vacancies, for the ST category candidates, there are 138 vacancies. For the SC category, there are 50 posts. For the EBC category, there are 22 vacancies and 44 vacancies for the BC category.
Other Details: The selection of candidates for the posts will be based on the performance in the written exam followed by PET and Medical Test. The selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs 5200 – Rs 20200. The candidates who have completed the 10th class are eligible to apply for the post.
