Jio Rs. 149 Recharge Plan Now Offers Unlimited 4G Data | Know Details & Additional Benefits

Reliance Jio 149 recharge plan just got an update. Reliance Jio has quietly updated one of its prepaid recharge plans to offer consumers the access to unlimited data. Till now Jio 149 plan that was being offered by Reliance Jio came with 2GB bundled data. The validity of this pack was 28 days. This was a limited data voucher as once the 2GB data cap was exhausted, the Jio user needed to buy a top-up voucher to continue surfing.

Most of the other Jio plans, apart from the Jio 149 plan, came with unlimited Internet access. There was a particular limit after which the service provider offered data service to the customer but at a lower speed.

Now Unlimited Data in Jio 149 Plan

With Reliance Jio updating the Jio 149 plan, customers will get unlimited data with this plan as well. With the increasing data price war, Reliance Jio brought slight changes to its existing Jio 149 recharge plan and offered unlimited data to its consumers at a small price.

Following the changes in Jio 149 plan recharge pack, it will offer all necessary services. The Jio 149 recharge plan by Reliance Jio will now offer 300 SMS, 2GB 4G internet data, unlimited voice calling besides access to mobile app. After the consumer exhausts the 2GB data limit, he will still be able to use internet services by Reliance Jio but at a lower speed of 64 kbps. The earlier plan did not offer data services to the user after the FUP limit got crossed.

Changes in recharge plans by Jio for more data

Reliance Jio has updated its prepaid plan to offer more data to Jio users. In Jio 149 plan, earlier the plan offered 2GB of 4G data that carried a validity of 28 days. Internet services were discontinued once the data was exhausted. In order to continue surfing user had to buy another data recharge plan.

With the updated Jio 149 plan users will no longer need to recharge the prepaid number even after consuming the 2GB limit. The updated Jio 149 plan gets 2GB FUP that comes with a validity of 28 days, the user can continue using the internet at a reduced speed of 64kbps once the 2GB limit is exhausted. Unlimited local and STD calls have also been included in this plan.
