Jio Fiber Broadband (FTTH) is Here & it’s Offering 1.1 TB of Free Data at 100Mbps | Check Plans

The mobile network market is already disrupted by the Reliance Jio and now it is all set to launch its Reliance Jio Fiber fixed line broadband (FTTH) services soon. The services are reportedly in test since September 2016. This is the same time when Reliance Jio was launched. Reliance Jio Fiber becomes official last May with some of the limited users in the selected cities.

Reliance Jio is offering preview plans to its Jio Fibre Users with free data up to 1.1TB. Now a new report claims that Jio Fibre Initial Plan is offering 1.1TB data to the FTTH users. The commercial launch of the Jio Fiber is set later this year but the company is testing the Jio Fiber in cities including Chennai, Jamnagar, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, & Mumbai.

Jio Fiber Plan Details & Free Data Offer

According to the report of The Hindu, the new initial plan of Reliance Jio Fibre Broadband services is offering 100GB data per month. users will get a speed of 100MBps. Users will get 100GB data per month under this plan. And once the 100GB data is exhausted users can get 40GB free data in the form of top-ups. Users can avail 25 top-up per month and each offering 40GB data.

This 25 top ups of 40GB data are equal to 1000GB data. This is equal to 1.1TB (100GB base plan + 25*40 = 1.1TB). There is no information whether the remaining 1TB data will also get a speed of 100 Mbps or a lower speed. Earlier, Reliance Jio was offering 100GB free Data under the preview plans of Jio Fiber at a speed of 100 Mbps. After the usage of 100GB, the speed reduces to 1 Mbps.

Jio Fiber Connection – Rs.4500 Security Deposit

It is also said that the Jio Fibre Connection will be available in the market at a security of Rs.4500. This security is refundable. By depositing the security users will get a Jio Router installed and this Jio Router can be used as a set-top box to enable TV Channels via IPTV services. There is no official confirmation of Jio regarding the 1.1TB free data.
