Like the last year Jio Happy New Year Offer, this year also Reliance Jio launched two new plans for its prepaid users to give a New year Gift. The two plans launched by the telecom operator are 199 plan and 299 plan. Both the newly launched plans of the company are monthly plans that come with the validity of 28 days.
This is a great move by the company as earlier there was only a single monthly plan of Jio under which it is only giving 4.2GB high-speed data. The daily limit of high-speed 4G data usage in the monthly plan 149 is 0.15GB while these two new plans will now give 1.2GB daily data usage in 199 plan and 2GB data usage daily in the 299 plan. Reliance Jio Happy New Year Plan 199 Details
The first plan is 199 plan. This plan is a monthly plan and comes with a validity of 28 days. In this plan, all prepaid users will get free unlimited calling benefits including roaming, local and STD calls. The new plan of Jio also gives Unlimited Free SMS. In this plan, users will get 1.2GB daily 4G data with full-speed and after that unlimited data with lower speed.
Reliance Jio Happy New Year Plan 299 Details
The second plan of the company is Plan 299. This plan is exactly the same to 199 plan but offers daily high-speed data of 2GB and after that unlimited with low speed. This plan offers Unlimited local, STD and roaming outgoing calls. The validity of the 299 plan is 28 days. This plan of Jio will give a tough competition to Bharti Airtel 349 plan and Vodafone monthly plan under which they are offering 2GB daily data usage.
Reliance Jio 299 Plan Difference with Monthly plans Of Airtel and Vodafone
the first difference is data usage after the daily limit. Only Jio is giving unlimited data usage after the daily data usage limit. After Jio there is one more operator that is giving the same benefit and that is BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited). Neither Airtel nor Vodafone is giving Unlimited data usage after the daily limit. The second thing is Airtel and Jio are giving Unlimited calls but Vodafone plan comes with Daily and a weekly limit on free calls. Once they were crossed users will be charged.
