Jio New Year 299 Plan Vs Airtel 349 Plan | Battle of 2GB Data Per Day Plan Starts

Reliance Jio has launched two new plans under the Jio Happy New Year Offer 2018. Jio has launched 199 plan and 299 plan for all prepaid customers. These two plans come with a validity of 28 days. Plan 199 of Jio comes with 1.2GB daily data limit while the 299 plan of Jio comes with a 2GB data limit. With the launch of 299 plan of Jio, this plan will compete against the monthly plan of Airtel 349 in which the telco is offering free unlimited calling with 2GB data per day.

Reliance Jio 299 Plan – 2GB Data Per Day & Unlimited Calls

Reliance Jio 299 plan is a monthly plan under which the telecom operator is offering Free unlimited calls. The Unlimited calls also include all roaming calls. The 299 plan of Jio is launched under the Jio Happy New Year Offer 2018. The latest plan 299 of Jio comes with 56GB 4G data with high-speed. The daily data usage limit in the Jio 299 plan is  2GB. After the consumption of 2GB data, the speed of the data reduces to 160 kbps. The validity of Jio 299 plan is 28 days. This plan is clearly an answer to Airtel 349 plan.

Airtel 349 Plan – 2GB Data Per Day & Unlimited Calls

Airtel 349 plan is one the best monthly plan under which the company is giving 2GB Data usage per day with free unlimited calls. Plan 349 of Airtel comes with al unlimited calls including the roaming outgoing calls. The pack also comes with Unlimited SMS. The daily data limit in the Airtel 349 plan is 2GB.  The validity of 349 plan of Airtel is 28 days.

One of the biggest difference in the Airtel 349 plan and Jio 299 plan is the data usage. The data usage in the Jio 299 is unlimited even if you cross the daily data usage limit. If you cross the daily data usage limit then the speed of the data lowers but it remains free and unlimited. There is no such benefit in Airtel 349 plan.

Rest of the benefits in 349 plan of Airtel and Jio 299 plan is same. All Locals calls are free in both the plans. All STD calls are free and all roaming outgoing calls are free. Both the plans offer unlimited SMS too.
