Visiting the store would not guarantee speedy delivery of the Jio 4G phone as the delivery of the Jio 4G handsets will start from September onwards. Even if a person pre-orders the phone on the opening day of the bookings the phone would still be delivered on a first come, first serve basis. The company aims to deliver 5 million units each week.

The entry-level Jio 4G phone will come loaded with unlimited voice calls, data, and text messages. This phone will have to be recharged with a Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan monthly pack of Rs. 153. This pack will offer free voice, texts and high-speed data unlimited data which has been capped at 500MB per day, for 28 days. This pack will also entitle the user to use my Jio app for the same period of time. According to reports, the Jio Phone will be equipped with an alphanumeric keypad, 2.4-inch display with QVGA display. The Jio 4G mobile phone will also have microSD card slot, Torchlight and FM radio. The single SIM handset will work only on 4G VoLTE networks. The phone will have a panic button and will support voice commands and 22 Indian languages.The phone may miss out on WhatsApp support but a web browser, Facebook and several other features have been loaded in the Jio 4G Mobile phone.
