After the successful first phase of the Jio Phone pre- booking on August 24, 2017, the telecom giant Reliance has geared up to resume its pre- booking this week again. In the first phase of its pre- booking, Reliance Jio claims to have pre- booked over 4 million units of the 4G VoLTE feature mobile phones at Rs 1500. And the delivery of these Jio phone will begin in India from September 10.
The pre booking of the Reliance Jio feature phone was first started on the August 24, 2017 but was soon suspended due to the heavy traffic of the official website Jio4GPhone.in and the huge demand for the phone.
Jio phone pre- booking resume this week
Due to the delay in delivery of the Reliance Jio feature mobile phones to the customers who had pre- booked them online, the company is expected to restart the pre- booking of the Jio mobile phones in another week’s time. However, no date for resuming the pre booking for the Jio feature phone has been announced officially. The purchasing and delivery of the Jio feature phone was made on the first come first serve basis on the Reliance Jio website and MyJio app.
Well, even the retailers of the Reliance Jio feature phones also claim that the huge demand of the device is the key reason for the delay of its deliveries. The JioPhone has become so popular and seems to have tapped the large part of the mobile market in India that the company boasts of reaching over 500 million Reliance phone users who are still using 2G or 3G services.

To pre book the Reliance Jio Feature Phone online, the customer will have to register itself on the company’s website jio4gphone.in and will have to deposit Rs 1500 as security, which is fully refundable after three years of purchasing. To redeem the refund, the buyers will have return the device.
Talking about the Reliance Jio feature phone, the device features 4G VoLTE along with 2.4 inch display. The JioPhone will also sport a voice control feature for web surfing, making calls and pre- downloaded Jio apps including Jio Cinema, Jio TV and Jio Music. The Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone will also support microSD card with FM radio and torch light.
