For six successive months during the first six months of the existing financial, Mukesh Ambani headed Reliance Jio has registered the top most 4G data download rapidity. With an average output of almost 20 megabits per second, the company remains a major winner. The average mobile data pace of Jio’s rivals including Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular could not even reach the 10 Mbps mark during the same period.
According to newest facts by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio has registered 4G data pace of 14.7 megabits per second, 19 megabits per second, 22.3 megabits per second, 19.9 megabits per second, 22.3 megabits per second and 20.6 megabits per second during the month of April, May, June, July, August and September, respectively.

What about other players in the field

Bharti was the only contributor that managed a speed of 10 Mbps in the year of August. During the 2017 calendar year (CY) in addition, Jio dominated Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s 4G mobile data rapidity charts for 12 successive months one after the other.
Mobile data pace has been a quarrelsome matter with Bharti and Jio locking horns over which operator provides the fastest cellular data speed. In the year 2017, Jio had moved the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) in opposition to Bharti’s TV ad claiming itself as “publically” the fastest system. The advertising watchdog asked Bharti to remove the ad, which the operator did.
