Today, a day ahead of the final judgment on the Dear Chief and Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s rape case, the security across Panchkula, Chandigarh and Mohali has doubled to what it was in last two days. Over two lakh Dera followers have reached Panchkula from across Punjab & Haryana. The judge in the Dera Chief rape case, Jagdeep Singh, is provided high full proof security. He is ready to give his final verdict on the 15-year-old rape case, which Dera chief is accused in.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim is Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda’s head, who will have to be present tomorrow in the Jagdeep Singh’s special CBI court. Jagdeep Singh who is one such upright judge who is really competent in what he does. He is an additional district and sessions judge who is designated at the special court of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) since a year. As a judicial officer, Panchkula CBI court is his second posting.

Jagdeep Singh hails from Haryana itself and has practiced as both civil and criminal lawyer in the Punjab and Haryana high court, prior joining the CBI court. In the year 2002, he graduated as a law student from the Panjab University (PU). Since his college days, Jagdeep Singh is a diligent and upright person. He was a bright student during in his academics then and a hard working professional now.
In September 2016, Jagdeep Singh was in the headlines for helping injured people in road accident whom he had met while coming from Hisar to Panchkula. He took the injured to the hospital in the Jind district. As reported that time, Jagdeep called on the emergency number seeking assistance, he got the reply from the operator that the ambulance will not come flying. Infuriated Jagdeep Singh then stopped a passing by vehicle and then took the injured to the hospital.
