Kala Gram 9th National Craftmela (2017) Ends on a Happy Note | Here’re the Highlights

9th National Craft Mela 2017 @ Chandigarh ends on Sunday with the huge crowd & happy faces. Likewise ever year, Chandigarh people enjoyed the 10 days long Craft mela 2017 at Kala Gram started on 2nd November. From shopping to traditional dance, Chandigarhians amused themselves with every bit of it on the 9th National Craft mela 2017.

All the 10 days, Craft mela has seen a huge footfall from the city residents. As like the beginning, the conclusion of the National Craft Mela 2017 in Chandigarh was also wonderful that left the people carving for the next year to come soon.

And the last of day of 9th National Craft Mela @ Kalagram (Chandigarh)

Decorated with the colorful activities, 9th National Craft mela 2017 attracted the audience with the great traditional performances. Traditional dances from Rajasthan, Odisha, Uttrakhand and many other states of India. ‘Kachi ghori’ from Rajasthan and ‘been jogis’ from Haryana were the most popular folk dances. Along with it, ‘gaud maria’ from Chhattisgarh & ‘goti pua’ from Odisha also won the hearts of Chandigarhians. Whereas stage was stolen by traditional folk dancers of Punjab and Uttrakhand with Bhangra-Gidha & Chhapeli respectively.

Also on the very last, Punjabi singer Anmol Gagan Maan performed at the stage of National Craft mela 2017 and made the visitor tap their feet on her beat. She enthralled the audience with her singing and gained huge appreciation with their clappings at Kala Gram ground, Chandigarh.
