Kapil Sharma's Firangi Movie Box Office Collection is Below Expected

Released on December 1, Friangi movie box office collection could not meet the expectation as anticipated. The movie review of Firangi created abuzz but couldn’t manage to gather much audiences to the theatres, even on the weekends. Lets’s not blame the co-released film ‘Tera Intezaar’ featuring Sunny Leonne and Arbaaz Khan as its box office collection is lesser than Kapil Sharma’s Firangi.

The Bollywood movie Firangi was one of the most ambitious projects of Kapil Sharma and Rajiev Dhingra who have collectively made it. Kapil Sharma who is considered the King of Comedy on television plays the lead role in Firnagi opposite Ishita Dutta who is a younger sister of the actress Tanushree Dutta. The great hype was created about the movie Firangi and it is also rumored that Kapil Sharma took a sabbatical from his television comedy programme, The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotion of the movie.

Firangi which was earlie scheduled to release on November 24, 2017 postponed its release date to December 1, 2017. The Firangi movie is a drama set in the era of pre-independence. Except the fact, Firangi has lots of comic moment and a message for the audiences, the movie turned out to be a no super hit at the box office. If we see the total collection Firnagi movie made at the box office, it could only manage to gain Rs 7.30 crore on the fourth day of its release across India.

As per the film review by the experts and critics, Firangi has a slow start and the plot of the movie is loosely packed. The only charm in the movie is the presence and comic timing of the actor Kapil Sharma. But that is not all for the movie Firangi to make huge collection at the box office. On the opening day, the collection at the box office was Rs 1.75 crore which on Monday turned out to be only Rs 90 lakh extra. The filmmakers are positive for the movie Firangi to work this week as there isn’t any big release this Friday.

Apart from Kapil Sharma, the movie Firangi features Ishita Dutta younger sister of actress Tanushree Dutta, Edward Sonnenclick, Monica Gill, Anjjan Srivastav, Roshni Walia and others. The movie Firangi is directed by Rajiev Dhingra while Kapil Sharma’s K9 Films is the co-producer in the movie.
