Amid a lot of speculations and huff, The Kapil Sharma Show, a popular comedy programme on Sony Television has got an extension of a year or so. The channel, Sony TV has renewed the contract of The Kapil Sharma Show, which has gone through manifolds of contemplation over dipping TRPs of the programme post the infamous mid air spat between the show’s host & comic actor, Kapil Sharma and the actor Sunil Grover, after which the latter left the show along with Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra.

A few months back it was rumoured that the Sony Entertainment Channel had given the deadline to Kapil Show on improving the dipping TRPs of his show or otherwise, the channel will have to shut down the show in the result of losses. May be that is the reason of Kapil Sharma’s reportedly failing health and the instances of fainting on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show off lately. Last month, there was news that actor Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma who had come on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their latest Bollywood movie Jab Harry Met Sejal, had to leave without shooting the episode due to Kapil Sharma’s bad health issue.

In a bid to bring back the audiences and the going down TRPs, Kapil Sharma tried to rope in many other actors and comedians to his show, which eventually helped him to gain back the confidence of the Sony TV. Off lately, the TRPs of The Kapil Sharma Show began increasing and in the result, the television channel renewed the contract of the comedy show.
Stand Up comedian-turned-actor-turned-producer, Kapil Sharma is now happy after receiving the formal renewal from the channel and expressed his gratitude to the audiences and to channel, Sony TV for showing faith in him and giving him yet another new year to tickle the ribs of the other with his historic comedy programme, The Kapil Sharma Show.
