Here are the number of vacancies of Karnataka HC in each district- Bengaluru rural (17), Bengaluru Metropolitan Area (89), Belagavi (47), Bagalkot (33), Ballari (29), Bidar (16), Chikkamagaluru (32), Chickballapur (26), Chitradurga (24), Chamarajanagar (21), Davanagere (27), Dharwad (23), DK- Mangaluru (19), Gadag (14), Haveri (28), Hassan (35), Kalaburagi (32), Kolar (25), Kadagu Madikeri (19), Koppal (16), Mysuru (23), Mandya (32), Raichur (21), Ramanagara (12), Tumakuru (45), Shivamogga (29), UK- Karwar (49), Udupi (8), Vijayapura (22), Yadgiri (16), Bench at Kalaburagi (3) and Bench at Dharwad (2).
As far as the eligibility for the post is concerned, applicants who are practicing as lawyers in between 2 to 4 years are eligible for the same. Whereas the candidates applying for the Oath Commissioner at Karnataka High Court must fall under the age limit of 35 years as on the date of application.
