The mega Tulip Festival 2017 has been organised by Jammu & Kashmir Tourism in order to showcase the beauty of nature and colour in the state. Kashmir Tulip Festival 2017 will be a part of Bahar-e-Kashmir (spring in Kashmir). A huge number of Tulip range will be shown during the Tulip Festival 2017 in one of the largest Tulip Garden in Asia. Since 2007, Jammu & Kashmir Tourism has been organising Tulip Festival to enhance the tourism in Kashmir during the spring.

About Tulip Garden in Srinagar

Tulip Garden of Kashmir has been named after the Prime Minister of India and thereby it is called as Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden. Located in the Sirag Bagh Chesmahsahi in the capital city of Srinagar, the Tulip Garden is the largest one in the Asia. It has been spread over 12 hectares that have been situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range that have a view of Dal Lake.
