The unique reality game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati aka KBC 2017 Season 9 is soon to start on television and this time the game show will appear with different features and lifelines. These changes in are introduced to make the game more interesting, tough and to engage the audiences who are watching the show.

The television’s reality game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, is a quiz hosted by the Bollywood’s megastar, Amitabh Bachchan and will be back with season 9 after the gap of three years. The last season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) was aired in the year 2014.

New features of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9

A few new features and lifelines have been added to the existing format of the game show KBC, this year. The season 9 of Kaun Banega Crorepati  2017 will have limited 30 to 35 episodes that will be aired over six weeks. The episodes of KBC 9 may see celebrities coming to participate and raise awareness or to support a special cause but no movie promotion will be done on the game show.

Added lifelines of KBC 9

Apart from these, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9 has introduced video call a friend as a lifeline instead phone a friend. It will be video call to a friend of the players seeking help regarding the questions asked on the quiz show.  Another lifeline, Jodidaar is added to the game that will enable the player on the hot seat to invite any of his friends, relatives or family on the show who will help the player to answer the questions. The other one is play along feature that will allow viewers to play the game along with the show via TV on their mobile phones.

Well, that’s not all.  Kaun Banega Crorepati season 9 is grand this time and that is why the show makers have raised the prize money to Rs 7 crore. If the contestant on the hot seat gets the level of Rs 1 crore qualified so he will play the next question of Rs 7 crore directly. The premiere episode of KBC 9 has been aired on the television showcasing the highlights of the last 17 years of the mega quiz show on television. The show will be aired from today onwards on Sony Television.
