Kawasaki Z900 RS With Oodles Of Chrome Teased, To launch Soon

Kawasaki has teased the Z900 RS retro motorcycle on its social networking page. The Z900 RS by Kawasaki is reported to be built on the same chassis as the Z900. Not just the chassis, the Kawasaki Z900 RS is also expected to get the same engine that powers the Kawasaki Z900. The Kawasaki Z900 RS will be officially unveiled at the upcoming edition of the Tokyo Motor Show.

Kawasaki Z900 RS teased with oodles of Chrome

On the UK Facebook page, Kawasaki has released a teaser video of their upcoming Z900 RS motorcycle. It has been reported, that Kawasaki has confirmed that it had been working on a retro-themed model. This model will be based on the Z900 naked motorcycle. The Kawasaki Z900 RS, which is going to be unveiled soon, draws inspiration from the legendary Kawasaki Z1.

Kawasaki was one of the bikes that the company had launched in the 1970s. The teaser video that was released by Kawasaki on their Facebook page clearly shows some of the specifications of the Kawasaki Z900 RS. The Z900 RS will get oodles of chrome along with the radial brakes and upside down forks.

Apart from forks and brakes, the exhaust can, headlamp unit and few other parts have got a little chrome as well. The Kawasaki Z900 RS is expected to offer slightly relaxed ergonomics as compared to the full-blown Z900 naked.

Power and other specifications of the Kawasaki Z900

In terms of power, the Kawasaki Z900 RS is likely to carry the same 4-cylinder engine that powers the Kawasaki Z900. As per reports, Kawasaki might change the engine tuning to offer a relaxed ride, that complements the super responsive unit on the Z900.

Though it has been revealed in the teaser that instrumentation panel of the Kawasaki Z900 RS gets two separate pods but there is no information available whether these will be offered in digital or analogue or a combination of both. Kawasaki will offer multiple colour options in the upcoming Kawasaki Z900 RS but the colour scheme will be retro.
