5 KXIP Players To Look Out For This Season

1. Glen Maxwell

The new KXIP captain is in a good touch. He has a big responsibity this season to lead the KXIP team. Maxi’s last year’s IPL performance wasn’t up to the mark but he is a completely changed player now. Maxwell has been used to the Indian conditions as he was a part of the India-Australia test tour last month and a scored a century too. Maxi can definitely be the X-factor for KXIP this time.

2. Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis is an Australian all-rounder. He was in the news when he had almost taken his side home by smashing 146 runs against New Zealand. He has an ability to hit the balls out of the park and also it will be tough to play his slower deliveries. Marcus Stoinis can be a finisher KXIP have been looking for.

3. David Miller

The South African left-hander can completely demolish the bowling attack. David Miller has been a part of KXIP’s squad since a very long time. David Miller has also captained the KXIP team but later stepped down due to the team’s miserable performance. David Miller is known for hitting long sixes out of the park and can definitely frustrate the opposition.

4. Eoin Morgan

England’s limited overs skipper is the new addition the KXIP team. Eoin Morgan was a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad before KXIP showed faith in him. Eoin Morgan is in a good form and his experience and ability could definitely turn the tables for Punjab’s side.

5. Ishant Sharma

Ishant Sharma has replaced injured Murali Vijay in the KXIP’s squad this season. Virender Sehwag, KXIP’s director and former Indian opening batsman believes that Ishant bowled well in India-Australia test series and will definitely prove out to be a good pick for KXIP. Performing well in IPL could also get him a call for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy which will begin from 1 June, 2017.
