Check These Last Dates To Link Aadhaar Card With Mobile, Bank, PAN and Insurance Policies

Aadhaar has been the most controversial issue in India lately, and the Supreme Court is still to decide the final verdict on that. However, the Government of India has been ordered to extend the last date to link Aadhaar Card to all the facilities to 31st of March, 2018. This will give Supreme Court time to give its final verdict on the issue if it is to be made mandatory for all these services. Meanwhile, the last date for linking all the services to Aadhaar card has been pushed to 31st March.

Last Date To Link Aadhaar Card To PAN

The last date to link Aadhaar card to PAN was 31st March, 2018 and it has been upheld. PAN was one of the first services to be forced to be linked with Aadhaar card until the Government was too enthusiastic about other services. The data from UIDAI reveals that 14 crore PAN cards of total 30 crores had already been linked as of now.

Last date to link Aadhaar card to Mobile Number

The last date to link your mobile number to Aadhaar card has been pushed to 31st of March, 2018 from February 26th earlier. There have been continuous reports by the customers from all over India that the telecom companies have been opening payment bank accounts without the permission of the customer. The payments bank is then put on to the NPCI’s Aadhaar payment bridge.

Last Date to link Bank Accounts to Aadhaar Card

The Supreme Court Of India ruled that the last date of linking bank accounts to Aadhaar is 31st March but also gave some relief to the people who don’t have one. Meanwhile, all the people wanting to open new bank accounts will have to furnish either their Aadhaar cards or the receipt telling that they have applied for one. 70 crore bank accounts out of the total 100 crores have already been linked to the last date of linking Aadhaar cards.

Last Date to Link Aadhaar card to welfare schemes, insurance, and mutual funds

There were reports that people were facing huge difficulties in availing welfare schemes provided by the Government of India due to the ongoing confusion over the Aadhaar issue. The Supreme Court of India changed the last date of linking Aadhaar card to these services to 31st March, 2018 instead of 31st December earlier. It also sternly told the Government that no person even in the most rural part of the country should suffer any inconvenience due to confusion over the matter.

The last date to link Aadhaar card to your mobile, bank account, PAN card, and welfare services might have been extended but the Supreme court will start hearing on the matter if it is mandatory on the 17th of January.
