It’s Final – iPhone 8 to Launch on September 12 | Specs, Price & New Features

Apple has started sending out media invites for the launch event of iPhone 8 – the much awaited iPhone to compete against LG V30 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Apple sent media invites and the event is going to held at New Steve Jobs Theatre in California. The launch date of iPhone 8 is 12 September. Apart from the launch of iPhone 8 company may announce the launch of iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.

iPhone 8 Launch Date in India and Price

There is no date announced when iPhone 8 will come to India and price of iPhone 8 in India. But it is completely understood that the price of iPhone 8 in India will be something higher than the iPhone 7. Apple iPhone 7 price in India starts from Rs. 44,999 and the price of iPhone 8 will be higher than this. It is expected that the new iPhone 8 will be available in India just 3 to 4 weeks after the initial launch.

Expected Specifications of iPhone 8

Coming to the specification of iPhone 8, it is expected that the new phone will not come with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. The new phone may come with face recognization feature. This will be the biggest change. Apple fingerprint scanner is popular and it is expected that this time Apple will give some new feature to unlock the phone. There are many leak reports about the specifications of iPhone 8. the phone may come with OLED display and small bezels. The phone is tipped to come in a single sim and will accept only nano sim. The phone is rumoured to run on iOS 11. The exact specifications of iPhone will be revealed on the launch date. So for all specifications, we’ll have to wait for 12 September.

iPhone 8 – Tough Competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 8 

Upcoming iPhone will give tough competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which was launched last month. The Phone Galaxy Note 8 comes with 6GB RAM and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The display of Galaxy Note 8 is 6.30 inch and it is powered by a 3300mAh battery. It will be interesting to see which phone wins the battle iPhone 8 or Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
