The three measures that have been announced by the government of India to link Mobile phone number with Aadhaar card that will allow people to complete the linking process from the comfort of home are – verification, service application and Interactive voice response facility.
It has been ordered by the government of India that telecom companies must complete re-verification of the mobile numbers by offering the service at the doorsteps of the senior citizens, disabled and chronically ill. The operators have been asked to set up an online method for such cases wherein such people can request for doorstep verification.
