Maatr Movie Story

The story of Maatr showcase the fight of a mother, who seeks justice for her daughter. Raveena Tandon has played a character named as Vidya, whose daughter Tia has been raped and murdered. After the incident, Vidya got shattered and seeks justice for her daughter. But nobody helped the helpless mother and she faced a lot of trouble during her fight.

Then the mother decided to fight alone for her daughter and the decision turned her from a helpless mother to a strong woman. Maatr reviews hint towards the reality in our society. Maatr movie consists of two songs. First one has been titled as ‘Zindagi Ae Zindagi’, which has been voiced with the mesmerising voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Whereas the second track of the movie Maatr ‘Aisi hoti hai maa’ has been sung and composed by Kavita Seth and the lyrics has been penned by Munawwar Rana.
