Automaker Mahindra is all set to roll out the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) soon in India. Mahindra KUV100 is company’s smallest SUV and has made an impressive entry in the Indian market. Designed with collaborative inputs from Pininfarina S.p.A, Mahindra’s smallest SUV -KUV100 was an important product for Mahindra. Pininfarina S.p.A is the celebrated Italian design house that has also styled the Ferrari cars. The Indian automobile manufacturer, Mahindra received a mixed response from the target audience and the 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) is expected to woo the prosperous clients with the mid-life update.
The New Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift)
The new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) may continue to possess the same 1.2 litre mFlacon G80 and 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 motors in terms of the powertrain. It has not been officially declared yet whether Mahindra will continue with these existing engines with the same state of tune or it will introduce newer engines to the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift). Changes and power of the engine are still not known for sure.
Features of the new in Mahindra KUV100
As per reports, the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) gets an updated headlight design. As compared to the outgoing model, this headlight design has been merged with a shorter profile that does not extend to the A-pillar. The air intakes, as well as the fog lamp housing too, have been updated in the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift). The new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) also gets a bigger sabertooth-styled chrome grille. The new 15-inch alloy wheels gives an impressive side profile to the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) though a major part of the vehicle side profile looks similar from the side profile.
The design of which looks sportier than before. Towards the rear, one can notice the reworked bumper with subtle character lines along with additional detailing on the tail lights. The reworked bumper is easily noticeable. Subtle character lines coupled with additional detailing on the tail lights add to the sportier rear appearance of the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift). Any information about the interiors has not been revealed yet, but the exteriors are very striking and make the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 (Facelift) a much-anticipated car.
Price of the Mahindra KUV100 facelift
At present, the Mahindra KUV100 is priced between Rs 5-7 lakh (ex-showroom Chandigarh) and a marginal price increase is expected after the facelift from Mahindra. Mahindra KUV100 – compact SUV from Mahindra presently competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Maruti Ignis and the Hyundai Grand i10 in India.
