The launch date of Mahindra KUV100 Facelift has been finally revealed. The subcompact SUV Mahindra KUV100 was launched in India last year and the company is all set to launch the facelift variant of the Mahindra KUV100 to retain its market share. According to reports, Mahindra & Mahindra has finally announced the official launch date of the Mahindra sub-compact Suv Mahindra KUV100 Facelift. According to the report, Mahindra KUV100 Facelift is slated to be launched on October 10.
With the initial launch of the Mahindra KUV100, the company ventured into a different segment. Mahindra launched the car in the category of a compact SUV though the audience saw it as a hatchback hose design that was inspired from an SUV. Mahindra has announced that the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift will be officially launched on October 10. It has also been reported that the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift has been christened as Mahindra KUV100 NXT.
Noticeable changes in the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift
There are not many changes in the design of the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift while the subcompact SUV carries distinct and noticeable changes on the exterior. The Mahindra KUV100 Facelift gets an updated front bumper, there’s a little more plastic cladding around the fog lamps and it also gets a new mesh.
The bumper of the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift has been tweaked a little that gives the subcompact SUV a fresh look and makes it more contemporary. The front and the rear of the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift also gets a faux skid plate that has been finished in brushed aluminium.
The KUV100 NXT also gets new clear lens taillights on the rear coupled with chrome bezels inside. The rear bumper too has been revised which is similar to the front bumper. The wiper of the Mahindra KUV100 Facelift too sports a different design.
Specifications in the new Mahindra KUV100 facelift
The Mahindra KUV100 facelift gets revised headlamps. The grille too has been revised and the new grille of the Mahindra KUV100 facelift takes inspiration from the updated variant of the Mahindra XUV500. The facelift variant of the Mahindra KUV100 appears to be a bit larger too than the existing variant.
It has been reported that the new KUV100 facelift will be a little longer than the existing model. The Mahindra KUV100 facelift also gets all new dual tone gloss black and chrome finished 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
Interior and other features of the
Seating capacity of the Mahindra KUV100 facelift remains same and it continues to be a six-seater. The top-end model of the Mahindra KUV100 facelift comes with an all-black interior merged with brushed silver inserts to add to the premium touch of the car.
The lower trims of the car will get grey interiors. The overall layout of the Mahindra KUV100 NXT remains same but on the interior the new model gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system comes in the top-end trim of the Mahindra KUV100 facelift. Though the infotainment system offers audio and navigation support, yet it misses out on the Android Auto feature.
Some of the features that remain same in the facelift model include auto climate control, height adjustable driver’s seat, steering wheel mounted control and much more. It is expected that the company may offer dual airbags as standard.
Mechanically, the KUV100 will come with both petrol and diesel engines, though the AMT model is expected on the KUV100 facelift model.
