Maruti Suzuki has launched the Baleno Alpha CVT in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki Baleno Alpha CVT has been especially targeted to woo the customers looking to buy an Automatic Baleno. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno Alpha CVT will be loaded with hi-end features. To add to the features of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Alpha CVT it has been equipped with Smartphone Linkage Display Audio that works with MirrorLink and Apple CarPlay.

Since Maruti Suzuki Baleno’s launch in India in the year 2015, Maruti Suzuki claims to have sold over 200,000 Balenos in the market to secure the top position in the premium hatchback segment. It is noteworthy that Maruti Suzuki Baleno hit the 100,000 unit sales milestone in less than a year. This sale figure helped Maruti Suzuki Baleno set a record for being the top selling premium hatchback in the country.

By adding the CVT gearbox to the Alpha variant of the popular Maruti Suzuki Baleno premium hatchback Maruti Suzuki has expanded its range of automatic cars. With the addition of Maruti Suzuki Baleno Alpha CVT to the top variant, the CVT in Baleno will be offered in three variants. These variants will include the Delta and Zeta variants.
It is believed that Maruti Suzuki has initiated this move to democratize two-pedal technology in India. Besides being a market leader in the segment Maruti Suzuki India is also the leader in the automatic gearbox which includes the AMT and CVT in India.
