Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 Facelift Revealed | Check Price & Other Details

Chengdu Motor Show was held in China last month in August 2017 and we finally got to see the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift that will come to India in 2018. The car we saw was the China-bound Suzuki Alivio which essentially is the same car as of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz that is sold here in India. The two cars are identical apart from the minor region specific changes in China and India.

Features of the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 Facelift

The new car does not look any drastically different from the ongoing Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in India other than a few cosmetic changes. There is an all-new radiator grill which looks more premium than the cars in the competition. The headlights continue to offer standard projectors and LEDs. The allow wheels of the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 facelift have also been given a design overhaul. The front and rear bumpers are now larger in size and compliment the larger grill better.

When it comes to the interiors, the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 facelift features a new dashboard that looks more simplistic and gives the car a more premium feel. The all-black interior now houses a larger touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system will come with android auto and apple car play which is now a standard for Maruti Cars in India.

Competition of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 facelift

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift, when launched in 2018, will continue to rival the class-leading Honda City.  In India, the Maruti Ciaz has already dethroned the Honda city from the number 1 spot but a facelift of both the cars are long overdue and it will be exciting to see how the new car fares up against the Honda counterpart. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz also competes against the Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and the Nissan Sunny in the Indian Car market.

Price and Launch date of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 facelift

The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift will launch early next year in 2018. Expect the new model to be priced at a premium of 30 to 40 thousand Indian Rupees than the ongoing model. Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch the Ertiga facelift along with the Ciaz:
