Best Selling Car Maruti Dzire’s Production To Be Increased To 20000 A Month | Waiting Period Update

This will also reduce the long waiting period of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire to less than a month

Maruti Suzuki Dzire had become the bestselling Indian car after dethroning the Alto from the same company a few months ago. Almost all manufacturers have a car in the compact sedan segment but Maruti’s reliability has been keeping the car miles ahead of the competition. The company has been trying to eliminate one problem that comes its way and that is the waiting period which is as high as four months. According to reports, the production of the Maruti Dzire will be ramped to up to 20,000 units a month to reduce the waiting period to less than a month.

Why Has Maruti Suzuki Dzire Production Been Increased?

Although the Maruti Suzuki Dzire sells more than any other compact sedan in the country, the cars by other manufacturers like the Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo, and Ford Figo Aspire aren’t doing any bad either. All these cars are almost head to head with each other but the Dzire still manages to outsell them with a better list of features and the reliability of the Maruti Suzuki brand. The car offers rear AC vents and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto which are missing from most cars in the segment.

However, many potential buyers are forced to look elsewhere since the Maruti Suzuki Dzire along with a long list of features also brings a long waiting period. The car has a waiting period of up to four months and not a lot of buyers are willing to wait that long for their car to be delivered. Maruti Suzuki is all set to increase the production of the Dzire to reduce its waiting period to less than a month.

The Pricing of Maruti Dzire Plays An Important Part In The Sales Numbers

The high sales of the bestselling compact sedan are also due to the competitive pricing. Maruti Suzuki has been able to price the Dzire really well undercutting the prices of the competition by huge margins. The Lxi petrol variant of the sedan can be had for 5.53 Lakhs and the prices go all the way up to 8.43 Lakhs for the Zxi Plus AMT top end model. Meanwhile, the diesel variants are priced between 6.77 Lakhs and 9.44 Lakhs. Features like ABS and two airbags driver and co-passenger come standard on the highly popular car.
