The newly launched Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition gets some extra cosmetic elements that are striking. These cosmetic changes in the Alto 800 Utsav edition include body decals. The Utsav edition Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is based on the VXi trim of the popular Maruti Suzuki model. According to reports, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition will come at an additional cost of Rs 20,000 over and above the standard Alto 800 VXi trim. The aim behind launching the special edition of the model is to offer buyers a fresh looking product in the entry-level segment.

Specifications of the special edition Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition gets all-new striking features that give it a fresh and appealing outlook. The Utsav variant of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 model gets new seat covers, door seal guard, ORVM covers and several other new features as an update. Additional accessories of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition include gains on the safety part as well. The Utsav edition has been equipped with the reverse parking sensors for safety.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition will be easy to distinguish from its regular version. The Alto 800 Utsav edition will get chrome strips on the bumper, below the tail lamps and lower lip of the hood. The interior of the Alto Utsav edition has been crafted with all-black upholstery coupled with a red strip.

The unit comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission gearbox and claims a mileage of 24.7 kmpl.

Competition for Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition

Currently, the VXi model of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is the top trim of the model. The VXi trim features internally adjustable ORVMs, body coloured bumper and door handles, body side moulding, a stereo system, central door locking that comes with remote keyless entry and rear door child lock. As a security feature, the driver side airbag in the VXi trim of the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 comes as an optional extra.

Maruti Alto 800 presently competes with the likes of Renault Kwid, the Hyundai EON, and the Datsun redi-GO and the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav edition will also rival these competitors in the segment.
