Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Facelift Launched At Rs 8.49 Lakh | Know Features And More

Maruti Suzuki has finally launched S-Cross Facelift in India. The much-awaited S-Cross Facelift has been launched at a very attractive price of Rs. 8.49 Lakh. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL) has launched the S-Cross Facelift in India during the festive season which is available in four variants priced between Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is for the first time since the launch of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross in 2015 that the car has received a comprehensive update.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift launched in India

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has finally launched the all new S-Cross in India. The S-Cross has been launched with a very attractive price tag of Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It has been reported that the S-Cross facelift will be available in four variants priced between Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs 11.29 lakh.

The variants Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha will come with some new features and reworked body styling which makes the all-new S-Cross better offering from Maruti Suzuki than before. The attractive price tag has been achieved by Maruti Suzuki after investing over Rs 100 crore towards development of the new S-Cross.

Specifications of the new S Cross 

The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will be retailed via Nexa – company’s premium dealership chain The S-Cross facelift boasts of some new premium features alike other products that are retailed through Nexa dealership.

The updated Maruti Suzuki S-Cross comes with an all-new chrome grille and a pair of redesigned headlamps. It also gets a new beefier front bumper with a wider airdam, projector headlights with LED DRLs, and restyled foglamps will add to the style quotient of the car.

A sportier set of alloy wheels has been added to the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift apart from redesigned ORVMs with integrated turn signal lights. The top-spec variant of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift is likely to get LED taillamps as well while there the revised rear bumper will come as a standard fitment.

New interior and upholstery beside a completely redesigned dashboard adds to the premium look of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift. The new S-Cross has been equipped with a new touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto with MirrorLink. Safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts have been added to the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift and will come as standard fitment across all the variants. Push start/ stop button, keyless entry in addition to the rear parking sensor and rear camera make driving pleasurable with added safety.

Under the hood of the S Cross facelift

The old 1.6-litre engine has been discontinued in the new S-Cross facelift. The car will only be available with the 1.3-litre diesel engine. Badged as the DDiS 200, the 1.3-litre engine of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift comes with the company’s Smart Hybrid from Suzuki (SHVS) technology.

The features in the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift includes idle-stop start, brake energy regeneration system, torque assist and a gearshift indicator.
