Maruti Suzuki Swift’s India-Spec Model Spied in India Before Launch | Here are the Changes

The much-awaited next generation Maruti Suzuki Swift has been spied in India ahead of the car’s official launch slated next month. According to the reports, the all new Maruti Suzuki Swift will debut in the Indian automobile market at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo and will be soon launched after the auto show.

Swift from the Maruti Suzuki stable had been one of the most popular hatchbacks in India since launch. With increasing competition in the segment, the automaker is gearing up to launch the next generation version of the popular hatchback Swift in India soon.

As per the reports, the all-new Swift from the Indo-Japanese carmaker is slated to be introduced at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi next year. The car was spied before being officially available in India. Before the car gets available at the authorized dealerships in the country later next year, the spied pictures have increased the curiosity among the prospect buyers and those who are waiting for their cars.

Stronger, Lighter, more efficient Maruti Suzuki Swift

According to the report, the all-new Swift, which is still a few weeks away from its official launch, was caught without any camouflage while being shot for a TV commercial. Besides the visible changes and an all-new design, the major change in the new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is that the new vehicle is lighter, stronger and all-new in design. The next generation Swift gets a stronger and lighter chassis that offers more mileage, more comfort and better efficiency. Features of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift spied before its official launch

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift will continue with the same power terrains – a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. Both, the petrol, as well as the diesel unit, of the new Swift will come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has not been officially announced but it is being speculated that the automaker might launch an AMT option of the new Swift with both engines.
