The difference between these two subcompact SUVs is in the engine alternatives they offer. While the Tata Nexon is accessible in both petroleum and diesel, the Vitara Brezza has been diesel-just from the time of its dispatch. And now once again in the Automatic Transmission variant, Vitara Brezza is available with an only diesel engine.

Concerning the engines, the Vitara Brezza’s 1.3-liter, four-cylinder DDiS 200 motor is smaller, and, with 90hp and 200Nm of torque on tap, is less effective as well. On the other hand, the Nexon’s 1.5-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine produces a huge 110hp and 260Nm of torque, and the 1.2-liter turbo-petroleum engine produces 110hp and 170Nm of torque. With the Tata Nexon AMT buyers will get 6-speed gearbox while the Vitara Brezza AMT offers five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
