Due to the high power of XUV300 it has low fuel efficiency and gives an average of 20 kmpl in highways. In addition, this vehicle has also got a 6-speed gearbox which will help this car to rule the roads.
On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza vdi is launched only in diesel variant and it is powered by a 1248 4-cylinder diesel engine which comes with a 5-speed gearbox that gives it a power of 90 PS with a max torque of 200 NM. It has a shorter wheelbase of 2500 mm which is 100mm less than the XUV300 W4. It has larger fuel efficiency then the XUV300 and gives an average of 24 kmpl.

As for the pricing between these two variants, the segment-leading Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza VDi is just over Rs. 30,000 cheaper than the XUV300 and comes with a price tag of 8.18 lakh ex-showroom. However, the XUV300 is the most powerful and torquiest SUV as compared to the Vitara Brezza Vdi and defeats the competition on paper by developing 25 PS and 105 Nm more than the Brezza and comes with a price tag of 8.49 lakh ex-showroom
