Mercedes-Benz, the German luxury car manufacturer has launched their flagship luxury model on Wednesday. It’s the S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’. S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ is German luxury car manufacturer’s fourth launch of the year.
S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ Variants
S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ is available in S350 and S400 models. Both the models, S350 and S400 are motorised by the 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission. Things you need to know about both the models:
- S350 – Comes with a 3-litre, V6 diesel engine producing 258hp. It has 620Nm of peak torque.
- S400 – Comes with a 3-litre, V6 petrol engine producing 333hp. It has 480Nm of peak torque.

- The night view assists plus feature – This feature enables the drivers to detect pedestrians or animals very soon during the dark.
- Safety features in S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’ – It has 8 airbags, Pre-Safe, ESP ( Electronic Stability Program ), dynamic cornering control system, adaptive brake with HOLD Function, brake assist.
- The ASR Hill Start Assist Feature – 360 degrees surround view camera, active park assist.
- The Energizing Hot Stone Massage – This is one of the best features of S-Class ‘Connoisseur’s Edition’. This feature allows you to choose from 2 intensities – Low and High. There is a seat backrest which has a massage mat with 14 air chambers. These can be inflated or deflated by fast responding solenoid valves and develops a wave- like hot stone massage effect.
