After the hints of Google’s Nokia 1 (Android Go series) hitting India in May 2018, the news came out from Micromax that it will be launching its first Android Go phone before Google. Android Go series is designed with the motto of optimizing the performance of the low-budget smartphones in the market. This new Android Go is developed with the goal of providing the android version to improve the performance of low-end devices with 1GB RAM.
There are not many Android Go devices available in the market till date, but in 2018 the scenario is about to change as the Micromax and Google are jumping in for the launch of their Android Go series of Smartphone. Earlier, the announcement was carried out by Google at the Company’s annual developer’s conference that they are planning to launch Nokia 1 in partnership with HMD global in May 2018. Following this announcement recently, Micromax has also announced the launch of its first Android Go smartphone in India in January 2018.
Micromax to Launch its 1st Android Go Smartphone Before Google’s Nokia 1
After the continuous efforts to improve the performance of the low-end smartphones operating with 1GB RAM, finally, a way has been introduced by the mobile companies. Android Go is the Android version that will help optimize the performance of the low-end smartphones and soon Google and Micromax will join the list of companies producing the Android Go edition smartphone.
Micromax has revealed its plan to launch its first Android Go edition smartphone at Rs. 2000 in India in the month of January 2018. After the launch of this new version of Android ‘Android Go’ last month, it has also planned to launch a smartphone operating on this version in partnership with HMD Global (Nokia 1).
Expected Features in the Upcoming Micromax Android Go Smartphone
Micromax has announced that it will be launching its first Android Go smartphone this month in January 2018. One can expect the optimized performance of the fast operation. Along with the rest of the features, the device will also be equipped with applications including Google Go, Youtube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go, Files Go etc. The expected price of this new upcoming Android Go smartphone of Micromax is expected to be in the range of Rs. 2,000.
