Micromax Bharat 5 launched in India and it is giving equal competition to the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 5A. Soon after Xiaomi Redmi 5A Desh Ka Smartphone launched in India, Micromax Bharat 5 is also launched in the market. Both the handsets share almost same features and price but one specification that Micromax Bharat 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 5A contradicts at one point, the battery back up. Micromax Bharat 5 claims to give long-lasting battery life than any other smartphone. Unlike, Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Micromax Bharat 5 features a powerful battery of 5000 mAh that claims to run for 2 days and a standby time of up to 3 weeks.

Micromax Bharat 5 is launched with an aim to offer the affordable range of smartphones that support 4G VoLTE. Talking more about the specifications and features, with the launch of the Bharat 5 is an economical device that is launched to give an edge against the Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A across India. The Micromax Bharat 5 comes with a screen of 5.2 inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels and a dual-SIM slot set up. The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android Nougat. Packed with 1GB DDR3 RAM Micromax Bharat 5 comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
The newly launched Micromax Bharat 5 features a pair of 5-megapixel cameras both as the primary and the secondary camera with LED flash modules. For connectivity, Micromax Bharat 5 sports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio jack along with FM radio.
Price of Micromax Bharat 5 as compared to Xiaomi Redmi 5A
Xiaomi Redmi 5A that was launched last week in India is also a budget smartphone fixed at a price of Rs. 4,999 but the cost of Micromax Bharat 5 is Rs 5,555 in India. Though, specifications of both Micromax Bharat 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 5 is far different from each other but their prices competes with each other. The Micromax Bharat 5 will be available offline at various electronic goods and multi-brand outlets of the mobile phones.
Apart from this, those who are existing Vodafone customers, can avail a data pack of 1GB data pack along with additional 10GB per month for 5 months, which comes to 50GB data.
