Miss India title winner Manushi Chhillar has brought home Miss World 2017 Crown. It is indeed a proud moment for India as the country has finally got a successor in the beauty pageant after actress Priyanka Chopra who last won the coveted beauty pageant for India.
For more than 15 years several contestants represented India in the prestigious beauty pageant but could not taste success. Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss World in 2000 and since then there was no looking back for the beauty queen. Only Aishwarya Rai who won the title in 1994 and Priyanka Chopra who was crowned miss world in 2000, made it big in Bollywood after winning the title. Miss India 2017 Manushi Chhillar Crowned Miss World 2017
India’s Manushi Chhillar who won the Femina Miss India 2017 title earlier this year won the Miss World title for India after more than a decade. The win- “Miss World 2017 Crown” has come home after a gap of almost 17 years. It was Priyanka Chopra who last won the Miss World beauty pageant for India in 2000.
While Femina Miss India winner Manushi Chhillar represented India in the international pageant and was crowned Miss World 2017, Miss Mexico – Andrea Meza, stood the first runner-up in the pageant followed by Stephanie Hill from England as the second runner-up of the Miss World 2017 pageant. It is indeed one of the toughest beauty competitions in the world with more than 100 women competing against each other for the title.

While answering the question Manushi Chhillar promptly replied that as she is close to her mother and that she is her biggest inspiration, she believes all the mothers on the planet deserve the highest respect and it is not about the salary. She also stated that above all it’s about the love and respect that the mothers give to others and that is why mother deserves not just cash but the highest respect.
