Xiaomi MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM is now available for all Xiaomi Eligible devices. Xiaomi India MD, Manu Kumar Jain announced the same on its Twitter handle saying that MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM is now available for all smartphones in India. Users can check for the update in its About phone settings.
MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM Update
Apart from the tweet saying that MIUI 9 is available for all devices, Manu Kumar Jain also said in its tweet that Xiaomi India is committed to bringing all the best and latest OS and that is why the company is also updating the Mi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S which were launched almost 4 years ago.
The phones that are eligible for the MIUI 9 Global ROM are Xiaomi Redmi 2, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Xiaomi redmi 4A, Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime, Xiaomi Mi i, Xiami Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi Mi 3, Xiaomi Mi 4, Xiaomi Mi Max, Xiaomi Mi Max Prime Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi MIX 2 and Xiaomi mi Max 2. The MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM has already rolled out to some of the smartphones mentioned here.
How to Get MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM Update
MIUI 9 Global ROM was rolled out in India last year in the month of November. The update was officially unveiled last year in the month of July. MIUI 9 brings a lot of new features an improvement. In MIUI 9 users experience a new design element, lock screen shortcuts, split screen feature (the best feature with which you can use two screens simultaneously) and smart functionality.
So if you want to get the upgrade to MIUI 9, you have to download the update. All eligible smartphone users will get a notification regarding the update. If you don’t receive the notification then you can also check for the update from the setting options. Just go to the Settings of your phone. After that go to the About Phone section and then go to System Update. Now click on Check For Updates. If an update is available it will show you otherwise not.
