Xiaomi has launched MIUI 9, the new version of MIUI Android ROM. This update of MIUI is based on Android Nougat. MIUI comes with all latest features like Nougat. The user will experience faster interface and smart features in MIUI 9 update. The three main feature of Xiaomi MIUI 9 is Smart Assistant, Smart launcher and Image search.
Download Date of MIUI 9
This update will be available from 11 August. The user can download the MIUI 9 update on or after 11 August. It is the developer ROM. This update is China Developer ROM and there is no Global ROM. And up to now, there is no information when the Global ROM will be available. So to make it clear, this MIUI 9 update is for Xiaomi Mi 6, Redmi Note 4X and Redmi 5X. This is the first batch of the phone that will get this MIUI 9 update.
List of Xiaomi’s Redmi and Mi devices that will get MIUI 9 Update
All Xiaomi’s Redmi and Mi devices that will get MIUI 9 update are divided into two phases. In each phase, there is a list of phones that will get MIUI 9 update. The date of this MIUI update is different for both the phases.
List of Xiaomi Redmi devices getting MIUI update in phase 1: In phase 1 only 3 devices will get MIUI 9 update. This update of MIUI 9 will start from August 11. In this phase, two phones of Mi and one phone of Redmi is included. Xiaomi Mi 6, Redmi Note 4 will get MIUI 9 update.
List of Xiaomi Redmi devices getting MIUI update in phase 2: The second phase i.e phase 2 for MIUI 9 update will start from August 25(14 days after the phase 1 update). In this many smartphones will get MIUI update. Here is the list of Phones that will get MIUI update – Mi 4S, Mi 4c, Mi Note Pro, Xiaomi Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s Plus, Mi 5c, Mi Max 2, Mi Max and Redmi 4X.
