Yesterday Xiaomi launched the MIUI 9 Global ROM in India. In the same event, Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Redmi Y1 and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite smartphone. MIUI 9 is now available in India for selected phones. From early November the MIUI 9 ROM will start rolling out for Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Mi Max 2. Xiaomi Best Selling phone in India is Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Note 4 will now Get the MIUI 9 update. Yesterday the two phones launched by Xiaomi comes with MIUI 9. Xiaomi promised that the MIUI 9 Global ROM for all supported Xiaomi Phones will roll out by the end of November.
List of Xiaomi Phones Getting MIUI 9 Update
In the event of launching Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite and MIUI 9, the company also announced the List of Xiaomi phones getting MIUI 9 update. Here is a list of Xiaomi phones which will get the MIUI 9 update. Xiaomi Mi Note 3, Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, Xiaomi Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi 4X, Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite are the phones which are launched this year will get the MIUI 9 update.
Xiaomi Redmi 3, Xiaomi Redmi 3S, Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, and Redmi 2 Prime will also get the MIUI 9 update. Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 2 will also get the MIUI 9 update which was launched in the year 2013 & 2012.
MIUI 9 Latest Features
MIUI 9 was unveiled by the company in the month of August. The all-new MIUI 9 brings a lot of changes and improvements in the MIUI 8. MIUI brings a lot of improvements, Faster app load time, shortcuts in lock screen and split screen features. MIUI 9 also brings faster app loading and boost in performance.
The main features of MIUI 9 are in the sections of notifications, split screen, icon animation and smart photo editing. In MIUI 9, multiple style notifications will be showed and quick reply options are also there. Some of the other improvements in MIUI 9 are Smart Assistant, Smartp app launcher and the image search feature. The image search feature will allow the user to search photos based on keyword search.
How To Check MIUI 9 Update for Xiaomi Phone
To check the if the MIUI 9 update is available for your Xiaomi phone, follow these steps –
First of all, go to the Settings of your Xiaomi Phone.
In Settings menu go to the last menu and click on About Phone.
Now you will see an upward arrow with text System updates at the bottom of the menu. Click on System Updates.
After that click on Check for Update. If MIUI 9 update is available for your Xiaomi phone then it will show it otherwise it will show No updates available.
