Out of the six-people arrested by the police, Ankur Aggarwal is a graduate and Robin Sethi is the king of the gang during the IPL matches. Apart from Ankur Aggarwal, the other people who have been arrested are matriculates. They had fixed a date to collect Rs. 1 lakh from their client in Jaipur.
The police said that the group has been into betting for over a year. They were masterminds as they never used to operate from one state. They had started operating for the matches which were to be held at Mohali.
They used to change their location in every match. The police said that last week they were operating from a lottery shop in Zirakpur. The were lucky to escape before the cops reached their location but this time the police caught them red-handed.
