Mohali Policeman Thrashed By A Group Of Youngsters | Watch Video

The hot blooded youngsters would not have ever thought that they’ll get so fired up and would end up smashing a Mohali cop one day. Three youngsters were arrested on Tuesday by the SAS Nagar police for beating a Mohali cop. The cop who was beaten tried to stop the youngsters from fighting and later he was slapped, kicked and beaten with a rod.

The incident took place three months ago near the Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan in Sohana. No action was taken since three months till the video of the youngsters beating the Mohali polieman went viral on WhatsApp.

Police Constable Smashed By Six Youngsters 

Ravinder Singh, a Mohali police constable was smashed by six youngsters three months ago. After three months, a case has been registered with the police control room when they saw the video in which Ravinder was being thrashed by six youngsters. The video went viral on WhatsApp.

Three youngsters have been identified and arrested by the police for thrashing a cop. The three identified are Kuljeet Singh, a 21 year old man, Paramveer Singh, a 19 year old boy and Vakeel Khan, a 26 year old man. Vakeel Khan is a cable operator and all the three youngsters arrested by the police are residents of Pawala village (Fategarh Sahib).

How did the Incident happen?

The incident happened three months ago on February 1, 2017 went Ravinder Singh, the Mohali police constable went to a chemist shop in Sohana. Around 9:30 am, he saw the youngsters near the gurudwara fighting. He went to the spot and tried to stop the fight but the youngsters were so frustrated that they started beating him only. The Mohali policeman was hit by a youngster with a rod on his head and nose while another youngster slapped him and later the youngsters started kicking him.

Ravinder was left bleeding at the spot by the youngsters and he did not file a complaint against the youngsters. After three months, when the video of the fight has gone viral, the police have booked the three youngsters under the section 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), Section 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), Section 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and Section 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) of the Indian Penal Code. The hunt for other youngsters is on and they will soon be arrested.
