Talking about the review of the movie Mom, Sridevi is playing step-mom to her daughter who prefers to call her ma’am as she teaches in school as well. Sridevi’s reel life daughter in the movie plays a stubborn teenager, who is undoubtedly hard to raise by her parents (Sridevi). The story begins to grip when Sridevi’s daughter does not return home one fine day and is later learned to have been kidnapped and raped. Akshay Khanna who plays an investigating cop gets super sleuth as it becomes a high-profile case. The super talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also portrayed as notably aged local detective in a new avatar.
