Moto C and a bigger variant Moto C Plus have not been announced officialy but the specifications and features of both these phones by Motorola have leaked online. Moto with Lenovo is launching its budget friendly pair of smartphones, the Moto C’s in upcoming days in the Indian markets. Motorola’s Moto C range of mobile phones will come in two variants namely Moto C and Moto C Plus. The latest leak regarding these smartphones suggests that they are reportedly targeted at first-time smartphone buyers and are the brand’s “most affordable handsets ever”.
Moto C & Moto C-Plus (Features and Specs)
These Moto smartphones will come in two variants and both the variants will share almost the same features as the previous Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. So let’s see:
Moto C:
- Will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
- Moto C carries a 5-inch display.
- FWVGA screen resolution at 480×854 pixels.
- Available in both 3G and 4G.
- Quad-core MediaTek processors.
- 3G variant expected to come with a 32-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
- 4G variant suggested to come with 64-bit architecture but come with a clock speed of 1.1GHz.
- Moto C will have 1GB of RAM.
- 8GB or 16GB storage depending on factors including region and cellular modem.

- Will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
- Moto C-Plus will also have 5-inch display.
- HD screen resolution at 720×1280 pixels.
- Available in both 3G and 4G .
- Quad-core MediaTek processors.
- 64-bit version with the same clock speed of 1.3
- 2 GB of RAM.
- Moto C-Plus has 16 GB storage.
- Expandable storage via microSD card.
- Doubled capacity 4000mAh battery
- The resolution of the main image sensor on smartphone has been increased up to 8 megapixels (fixed-focus on 3G, auto-focus with 4G.)
- A 2-megapixel front shooter with flash support.
- Colour Variants for Moto c plus = Black, White, Gold, and Red.
Price and Availability
The Moto C model is expected to start from around Rs. 5000 and the Moto C Plus version might be around Rs.7000. the time frame availability in Indian markets about both the models has not yet been disclosed.
