Moto G5 and G5 Plus Get A Temporary Price Cut In India

Motorola has slashed the prices of its most popular smartphones – Moto G5 and G5 Plus. The phones that were launched in March early this year for 14,999 and 15,999 Rupees respectively and made a pretty solid case for themselves. Amazon.in is offering huge discounts on the G5 phones by Moto and they can be had for as low as 8,999 Rupees. The phones compete with immensely popular Xiaomi Redmi series of phones in India.

The basic Moto G5 which is the entry level phone of the segment is up for 8,999 Rupees down from 9,999. The G5 Plus variant of the Moto phone has 3,000 slashed from its price and can be had for 10,999 rupees. Also another G5s variant is available on Amazon.in and is priced at 13,999 down from 15,999.

Competing with the web giants discounts on G5 line up, various retail stores are offering discounts on Moto Z2 Play, Moto E and Moto C series. A massive discount of 3,000 can be had on the Moto Z2 Play which now sells for 24,999 Rupees. Moto M 4GB and 3GB variants are up for grabs for a mere 13,999 and 11,999 respectively.

A feeble 500 Rupee discount on Moto E4 and Moto C brings down their prices to 7,999 and 5,499 respectively. Moto G5 and G5s are available for 8,999 and 12,999 after a discount of 1,000 Rupees in India. All these offers are offered since these phones have been in the market for a while and they will soon get an upgrade next year.
